This blog is my personal logbook in the grand adventure of becoming a better developer. I’m passionate about building things, solving problems, and sharing what I learn.
I kicked off my career in China before making the leap to the U.S. for a Master’s in Business Analytics, where I dove headfirst into the world of data science. That degree led me to some cool opportunities as a Data Analyst and Data Scientist in the auto and insurance industries. I got my hands dirty with everything from crafting insightful data visualizations to managing the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models.
But I’m hungry for more. I want to build the pipelines, the infrastructure, the very foundation that data applications run on. That’s why I’m currently working towards a Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, with a laser focus on learning DevOps and making the switch to Data Engineering.
For me, learning isn’t just about reading textbooks. It’s about getting my hands on the keyboard. I’m always working on small projects to put theory into practice. When I hit a wall, I don’t just look for a quick fix. I try to document the “what” and the “why,” tracing the problem back to its roots in computer science. This blog is where I share that process.
My north star is to one day be a truly great developer. It’s a journey I’m deeply committed to, and I’m thrilled to share it with you. Thanks for stopping by.
